Your Visit, Step by Step
Four studios, one way of working. Here is what happens between the message and the mirror.
1. The Message
You tell us the service, the day and roughly what time on WhatsApp. We come back with a slot and a stylist, and we will say honestly how long it will take before you commit the afternoon.
2. The Consultation
Before anything is cut or mixed, your stylist reads how your hair actually falls, where it kinks and what you are willing to do at home on a Tuesday morning.
3. The Work
Cut, colour, texture or scalp, done by someone with ten to twenty-three years behind the chair, with the condition of your hair treated as part of the job rather than an afterthought.

How do I book an appointment?
Message the studio you want on WhatsApp. Tell us the service, the day and roughly what
time, and we will confirm a slot and a stylist in the same chat. No account, no app, no waiting for an email.
Do I need to book, or can I walk in?
Walk-ins are welcome and always have been. For colour, perming, straightening or head spa
we would strongly suggest messaging first, because those services run between one and four hours and the
stylist who does them may already be booked.
How long does a digital perm or straightening take?
Plan for three to four hours for straight control or a digital perm, and around two hours
for a Japanese perm. Colour with highlights usually runs two to three hours. We will give you the honest
figure on WhatsApp before you commit the afternoon.
Are the prices the same at every studio?
Prices shown on this site are the published Bukit Timah rates and are shown as starting
points. Confirm the exact figure for your studio and your hair length when you message us, because length
and condition both affect it.
Which brands do you use?
Our scalp and treatment programmes run on DAVINES and SHISEIDO, and we offer Kerasilk
k-gloss for smoothing and shine.

The cut
A cut is a diagnosis first.
Before anything is cut we look at how your hair actually falls, where it kinks, how it grows at the crown and what you are willing to do at home on a Tuesday morning. A shape that only works when a stylist blows it out is not a shape that suits you.
Several of our stylists specialise in Japanese-style cutting, which builds the shape from internal layers rather than the outline. It is why the hair still sits well as it grows out.

The colour
Colour that suits your skin, not the photo.
A shade that looks extraordinary on a screen can fall flat against your own colouring. Our colourists choose the tone against your skin, your eyes and the light you actually live in.
We work in single process, ammonia-free and coating colour, and we will say plainly when hair is not strong enough to lift safely. A bleach consultation is always done by the stylist before booking.

Start at the root
Good hair is a scalp story.
Thinning, oiliness, flaking and hair that will not hold a style usually begin at the scalp, not the lengths. A head spa cleans, stimulates and rebalances the skin your hair actually grows out of.
We run the Japanese head spa properly: warm water, a diagnosed programme, and a massage long enough to matter. Most clients tell us it is the only hour in the week when nobody can reach them.

Texture, changed properly
Structure you can live with.
A perm or a straightening service rebuilds the bonds inside the hair. Done badly it leaves damage you cannot cut out for a year. Done well it gives you back an hour every morning.
Our treatment-infused options run repair through the process itself rather than as an afterthought, which is the difference between hair that survives a perm and hair that looks better for it.

Length and density
Extensions that nobody clocks.
The tell with extensions is never the length, it is the join and the weight distribution. Fitted badly they show at the parting, tug at the root and thin the very hair they were meant to add to.
We fit fusion extensions strand by strand, matched to your own colour and density, then cut them into your existing shape so the two read as one head of hair.

Most of our clients already message us. So rather than push you into a separate booking system, the site writes your enquiry for you and hands it straight to the right studio on WhatsApp.
